Now that the 76′ers have made improvements on the court through the signings of Andre Igoudala and Elton Brand, they will look to improve off the court by adding experienced assistant coaches to Maurice Cheek’s squad. It has been reported that Cheeks would like to add coaches who can teach the post up position to their forwards and centers.
Three former NBA players are currently interviewing for job; Jeff Ruland, (who played center during his career), Steve Mix (who played forward during his career), and Alton Lister (who played both forward and center). It is expected that a decision will be made by the end of August.
