Turkey for Breakfast!

Posted by: Carlos Vasquez In: NBA Rumors

This morning, the USA Olympic team defeated the Turkish team 114-82. In the first quarter, the Americans started out sloppy allowing 10 straight field goals and were forced to 8 turnovers but the second quarter was a little different when they outscored the Turkish team 23-8. Once the second half started the Americans kept their composure and kept flying high like ducks outscoring Turkey 60-45.

The USA team was led by the 23 year old phenom Lebron James with 20 Points, 6 Rebounds, 5 Steals and 4 Assists after sitting out the 4th quarter. Also contributing to the feast was 6-8 Forward Carmelo Anthony with 17 points going 2-3 from the 3-point line. D. Wade led the bench with 14 Points.

Turkey was playing without their star players Hedo Turkoglu and Mehmet Okur and with this loss failed to qualify for the Olympics but has an automatic berth for 2010 as they host the games.

About Us

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan. And two years after we graduated, basketball started to fall out of our radar as we started spending more time in the office and less time on the court. Therefore, we created this blog to reunite our passion for the love of NBA and basketball across the world.

We hope that you will enjoy our blog. We are intensively working on our coffee breaks to bring you the best rumors that the NBA has to offer.

Sincerely,
