The Philadelphia 76ers agreed to terms with free agent guard Kareem Rush today in the city of brotherly love. Terms and agreements could not be revealed due to team policies.
Kareem Rush is a solid guard and he will provide stability to a inexperienced team with two championship rings in his career with he Lakers. He has great skills on both ends on the floor and he can certainly shoot the three pointer — something that the 76ers are in desperate need of after letting Kyle Korver go last season.

Today, Tim Donaghy was sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to engage in wire fraud and transmitting betting information through interstate commerce. He admitted providing inside information on bettors — he could have received up to 33 months.

Free agent Nenad Krstic has signed a two-year deal with Triumph Moscow from Russia and he will be the latest NBA player to find a new home overseas for next season. The contract is rumored to be worth around $9 million annually with a clause to opt out at the end of each year if he gets an offer back from a NBA team.

Charlotte Bobcats and Emeka Okafor have finally reached an agreement. After several weeks of negotiating, the restricted free agent has reportedly agreed to a six-year contract worth at least $72 million.

The Los Angeles Clippers has reportedly signed NBA veteran, Ricky Davis. The deal is worth $4.7 million for two years with an opt out clause for Davis after his first year of play. Davis will likely coming off the bench for guards, Baron Davis and Cuttino Mobley.

It has been reported that Kwame Brown has agreed to sign with the Detroit Pistons. The deal is worth roughly around $8 million for two years and Kwame is likely to sign today, July 29th. It will also include a player option, in which Brown can opt out of the second year if he chooses to. Will Kwame play backup center for Rasheed? The New York Knicks have traded Renaldo Balkman and cash considerations to the Denver Nuggets. In turn, the Knicks have attained a 2010 draft pick, Taurean Green, and Bobby Jones.
Taurean Green, son of former Knickerbocker, Sidney Green, averaged 1.6 points in 17 games for the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trailblazers last season.
