Kurt Thomas Wins his Spurs

Earlier this year in February, the San Antonio Spurs traded for Kurt Thomas when they sent Brent Barry and Francisco Elson to SuperSonics. The move was highly considered to be a result of Phoenix Suns trading for Shaquille O’Neal. The Spurs felt that they needed a big man who could defend Shaq 1 on 1 without loosing Duncan out to foul trouble.

The move was been considered highly successful and as a result, officials in San Antonio are securing Kurt Thomas to at least one more year with the team.

NBA Rumors was created by three college grads who played Division III NCAA basketball for Berkeley College. Back then, basketball was our life. A day did not go by without us talking about what was going on in the NBA.

Today, we are all working in our respective industries in Midtown Manhattan.
