Luol Deng has just signed a 6 year deal with the Chicago Bulls. Negotiations with Ben Gordon, on the other hand, have not been as successful so far. As a matter of fact, Gordon is so tired of waiting that he is now looking at options overseas where he might receive a more lucrative contract.
Born and raised in London, it was a natural choice for him and his agent to do so. England is not necessarily known for nurturing great basketball teams but the local kid who grew up with Big Ben in his sight, might be the first player to bolster a team that can compete in the Euroleage.
Ben Gordon has the ideal body type to play in Europe. While he is a little bit too short to physically match up in the NBA, his quickness would prove to be more devastating in the Euroleague where he would have less trouble getting by the big men.
